Built Up Applications
Considered “old school” by a lot of the newer companies, this method has stood the test of time. Over the years we have discovered time and time again, (depending on the design of your building) this can be one of the longest lasting and most affordable options available.
Modified Bitumen Applications
Also considered "old school" by many of the newer companies, this method has become somewhat of a lost art. Whether it is torched down, hot mopped, or a peel and stick application, Shelby Roofing & Exteriors does it all. There are many advantages to this system:
More durable than puncture resistant single ply roofing systems, easy to repair and perform routine maintenance in all weather.
A more modern system designed for year round installation with proper roof deck preparation. However, some adjustments must be made for certain weather conditions. It can be mechanically fastened or fully adhered depending on the substrate of the roof. There are many advantages to using this membrane. One of the main advantages to this membrane is it's reflective qualities. Also it comes in up to ten foot wide rolls which means fewer seams. It is very safe to install and comes in different thicknesses. This product can be used for a complete new roof or to recover an existing roof if building codes allow.
